On 19 December 2015, the Disabled People’s Association (DPA) and the Huayuan General Association of New Immigrants from China jointly organised an international exchange session at DPA’s office. The purpose of this session was to discuss issues on caring for persons with disabilities and to share best practices on including people with disabilities in Singapore. Participants included DPA members and distinguished delegates from the Nanchang Municipal Political Consultative Committee China. After DPA’s presentation on Singapore’s disability landscape, there was an interactive session between the delegates and DPA members. Overall DPA was delighted to co-host this exchange visit. DPA would also like to thank our members and the staff from Huayuan Association for their support and cooperation.
