DPA provides a platform for all people with disabilities to speak up and ensure their voices are heard and also ensures that their needs are represented at a national level. DPA welcomes persons with all types of disabilities to join us.
DPA invites persons with disabilities, allies and organisations to be part of a community that actively works towards building an inclusive society in Singapore.
Member Benefits
DPA members have opportunities to:
- Participate in the Inclusion Ambassador Training programme
- Volunteer in DPA initiatives and activities
- Contribute to disability-led research and reports, including the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) Parallel Report and the Enabling Masterplan
- Access selected DPA trainings, activities, information and resources
- Network and collaborate with others to build inclusive communities
- Attend DPA Annual General Meetings (AGMs), events, programmes, trainings and networking opportunities
Ordinary and Life Members are eligible to vote at AGMs.
Youth, Associate and Institutional Members are not eligible to vote at AGMs.

Youth Membership
Youth Membership is open to persons with disabilities residing in Singapore aged 13 to 17 years. Membership is valid from the year joined until the member turns 18 years old.
Ordinary Membership
Ordinary Membership is open to all persons with disabilities residing in Singapore who are 18 years of age and above.
Membership Fee: $6.00 for a three-year membership period.
Life Membership
Life Membership is open to persons with disabilities who have made a significant contribution to the movement of persons with disabilities through DPA or affiliated organisations.
Membership Fee: A one-time fee of $50.
Associate Membership
Associate Membership is open to allies of persons with disabilities, including parents, caregivers, partners of persons with disabilities and advocates for inclusion.
Institutional Membership
DPA invites Social Service Agencies (SSAs), organisations, social enterprises, and companies working with persons with disabilities to partner with us in amplifying disabled voices and advancing inclusion.
As part of this effort, DPA is currently waiving the membership fee for Institutional Membership. We welcome interested SSAs and organisations to join our growing network of disability-inclusive partners. To find out more or express your interest, please contact shafiqah@dpa.org.sg.
