Under the PC refurbishment program, DPA has employed two members with disabilities, Mr. Logaraj and Mr. Luqman to refurbish the PCs.The PC Refurbishment Program aims to empower people with disabilities not only through the use of computers to access the Internet but also create opportunities, in employment and independent living.
Student volunteers from Singapore Management University, Singapore Polytechnic and Raffles Junior College also took part in the PC Refurbishment Program. They enjoyed interacting with our members and it was a learning experience for them.
DPA would like to thank their members, volunteers and especially Walt Disney and NTU for their generous contribution of PCs in the past year.
