If you are automatically eligible for the Public Transport Concession, you will receive an application package from Land Transport Authority from April 2014 which will include the following documents.
1. Notification Letter
This letter is to inform you that you can apply online or through the enclosed application form when application for Public Transport Concession commences on 6 April 2014. The letter can be used to claim the $80 interim financial assistance.
You can claim the $80 interim financial assistance via the following options. (Please refer to page 4 of the attached brochure for more information.)
a. Add Value Machine Plus (AVM+): Place your travel card on the card reader, select the “Redeem Voucher” icon on the screen, and follow the instructions. OR
b. TransitLink Ticket Office/Concession Card Replacement Office: Present your travel card with the notification letter and NRIC.
Kindly note that no physical $80 voucher is in the application package.
2. Application Form
The following mandatory information and documents are needed to obtain the personalised concession card.
– Passport Sized Photo
– Photocopy of Front and Back of NRIC
– Application Form with the following mandatory fields to be furnished
o Indicate name to appear on the concession card
o Date of birth
o Update address if different from NRIC
o Contact number

The brochure, which is in the four official languages, will provide more details on the scheme.
