Call for Applications: Researcher-Participants for DPA-IPS Research Project

The Disabled People’s Association (DPA) and the Institute of Policy Studies of the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (IPS) seek applications for the position of Researcher-participants to work on our research project entitled “Discrimination faced by persons with disabilities in the workplace.” 

The main objectives are to understand the full range of potentially unknown or invisible forms of discrimination people with disabilities face in the workplace, and to appreciate the social consequences of such actions as well as any possible economic consequences to businesses.

Ultimately, our research findings will contribute to the following three areas: 1) Enabling Masterplan; 2) DPA’s Public Education Campaign 2017; and 3) Anti-discrimination legislation.

Minimum qualifications/requirements

  • Keen interest and/or good knowledge of disability related issues
  • Good command of the English language, as well as good writing skills
  • Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Prior experience related to the field of research preferred
