For 40 years, the Disabled People’s Association (DPA) has championed the rights, inclusion and empowerment of persons with disabilities in Singapore. As we celebrate this milestone, we invite you to join us in shaping the next chapter of disability leadership.
Guided by our principle, “Nothing About Us, Without Us,” we believe that persons with disabilities should lead the conversations, policies and initiatives that affect our lives. Through disability-led advocacy, research, training and public education, we work towards a Singapore where everyone can participate fully and contribute meaningfully.
Why This Campaign Matters
This campaign honours the contributions of disabled advocates who have helped drive positive change over the past four decades while investing in the leaders of tomorrow. Your support enables us to continue creating opportunities to influence policies, challenge barriers and advance inclusion across Singapore.
Your Contribution Supports
- Disability-led advocacy that advances the rights and inclusion of persons with disabilities.
- Research informed by lived experience to drive meaningful and sustainable change.
- Disability awareness and inclusion training delivered by persons with disabilities.
- Partnerships with schools, businesses and community organisations to promote understanding and accessibility.
- Opportunities for persons with disabilities to lead, participate and contribute to shaping society.
Too often, disability awareness programmes, training and research are carried out for persons with disabilities rather than by them. DPA is committed to ensuring that people with lived experience remain at the forefront of the work that affects our lives and communities.
By supporting this campaign, you are helping to strengthen authentic disability leadership and ensuring that persons with disabilities continue to influence decisions that affect our communities.
