After consultation and a site walk-through with DPA, Singapore Zoological Gardens has now revamped its premises and informative handouts such as their website and their maps to be more accessible and available to people with disabilities. It has also equipped its website with information on its disabled-friendly facilities and re-printed its maps with more information for people with disabilities. DPA would like to acknowledge the Zoo’s efforts in availing its grounds to more people with disabilities and improving in their accessible services to them.
DPA also viewed the accessibility of Mount Faber’s site and after DPA’s recommendations; Mount Faber has since installed a portable, lightweight ramp at the entrance of their establishment, opening up to better accessibility for people with disabilities.
